Okay, so here’s the scoop on how I whipped up this Jameson Orange Green Tea Shot. You know, I saw a couple of posts about it and thought, “Why not give it a shot?” – literally!
First things first, I gathered my ingredients. I grabbed:
- Jameson Irish Whiskey – the star of the show, obviously.
- Some sweet tea that I chilled in the fridge. I just used store-bought, nothing fancy.
- A couple of oranges, because you gotta have that citrusy kick, right?
Mixing it up
Now, onto the fun part. I took a shot glass and poured in some of that smooth Jameson. I didn’t measure, just eyeballed it – maybe about half the glass?

Next, I topped it off with the chilled sweet tea. Again, no precise measurements, just filled it up to almost the top, leaving a little room.
Finally, I squeezed in some fresh orange juice. I cut an orange into wedges and just squeezed one wedge right into the shot glass. You could use a fancy juicer, but honestly, squeezing it by hand worked just fine.
And that’s it! I gave it a quick stir with a little spoon I had lying around, and down the hatch it went.
It was actually pretty tasty! The whiskey was smooth, the tea added a nice sweetness, and the orange gave it that refreshing zing. I can see why people are into these. Might have to make these for my next party. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for something a little different.
And that’s my story about making the drink. Hope you can easily make it too. See ya.
