Okay, so I saw this recipe for 2-ingredient chocolate fudge with frosting, and I thought, no way, it can’t be that easy. But you know me, I had to try it out. Spoiler alert: it’s not exactly two ingredients if you count the frosting, but it’s still ridiculously simple.
Gathering My Stuff
First things first, I grabbed my ingredients. For the fudge itself, you just need a can of sweetened condensed milk and some chocolate chips. That’s it. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips ’cause that’s what I had on hand. For the frosting, I picked up some cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of vanilla extract. Pretty basic stuff, right?
Making the Fudge
Now for the fun part. I dumped the chocolate chips and condensed milk into a microwave-safe bowl. Then, I popped it in the microwave for about a minute. I took it out, gave it a good stir, and zapped it for another 30 seconds. You keep doing this until the chocolate is all melted and smooth. It took me like three rounds in total.

Once it was all melty and combined, I lined a small pan with parchment paper. You could probably use foil too, but parchment paper is my go-to. I poured the chocolate mixture into the pan and spread it out evenly. Then, I stuck the whole thing in the fridge to chill out and harden up.
Whipping Up the Frosting
While the fudge was chilling, I started on the frosting. This part is super easy too. I just beat the cream cheese until it was smooth, then gradually added in the powdered sugar. Once that was all mixed in, I tossed in a little vanilla extract for extra flavor. I kept mixing until it was all light and fluffy.
Putting It All Together
After about an hour or so, the fudge was firm enough to cut. I lifted it out of the pan using the parchment paper, which made it super easy to remove. Then, I cut it into little squares. Finally, I slathered that creamy frosting on top of each square. And that’s it!
Honestly, this 2-ingredient chocolate fudge with frosting is a game-changer. It’s so easy to make, and it tastes pretty darn good for something with so few ingredients. The fudge is rich and chocolatey, and the frosting adds a nice creamy sweetness. It’s definitely a keeper. I’ll be making this again for sure, maybe even try it with different types of chocolate chips next time. Who knows!
- Tip: You can totally customize this. Add some nuts, sprinkles, or even a swirl of peanut butter to the fudge. The possibilities are endless!
If you’re looking for a quick and easy dessert that’s sure to impress, give this a try. You won’t regret it!
